Nature Morte

A juxtaposition of Nature Morte and living art. The fruit in a bowl, flowers in a vase or table set at a distance depict a form
of art known as still life, or Nature Morte in French. Finding its roots in the Greek mosaics of the 16th century, this art genre is still very popular. Still lives are known to depict a thoughtful composition of everyday objects, however they are often filled with great personal or cultural significance.
